This hotel opened in 2002, although the building itself is much older.  Originally a sanctuary for monks, the building dates back to 1459.  In the 20th century it became privately owned.  Today, the careful restoration of Posada de Lluc has created a lovely, welcoming hotel.  Antiques and traditional Mallorcan furniture are carefully placed around the hotel and give it an historic atmosphere.
